	The peak season for snook is from early May through the end of July, but in this tropical environment the snook can be caught year-round. During the cooler months most of the snook move into the backcountry and typically they are smaller than the snook we catch during the peak season. Outdoor Adventures' catches will range between 8 and 30 pounds, with 10 to 15 pounds a good average.


	Tarpon also can be caught year-round but usually they move into the rivers in March and they remain there through October. The big schools that we target contain fish from 50 to 150 pounds. At the same time these backcountry areas also hold a lot of juvenile and first-year tarpon, those 10- to 20-pounders that can be great fun on light tackle or fly gear.

EVERGLADES FISHING PACKAGE, 3 DAYS, FOUR ANGLERS, $5,100.00

Our packages for up to four anglers include three days and three nights, all meals and lodging. For each four-person party we furnish two guides, each with 21-foot Maverick flats boats with Yamaha engines. All fishing licenses are covered and tackle is available. Your party would arrive on Sunday and fish that evening, followed by full days on Monday and Tuesday, and a half day on Wednesday. You would depart Wednesday afternoon. You should schedule your flights to arrive between 2 and 3 p.m. and depart from the lodge at about the same time on Wednesday. The closest airports with commercial service are Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale and Miami. The drive from Fort Lauderdale or Miami to Everglades City takes about 1 ½ hours. From Fort Myers the drive is about 1 hour.

DAY CHARTERS: EVERGLADES SNOOK AND TARPON: Full Day $600
You would start fishing at daylight and fish for 8 hours, or longer if we are into the fish. In June and July daybreak is about 5:30 a.m. and about 7 a.m. in the fall months of September and October. We experience our best fishing in the early hours. The guide will furnish drinks, snacks, tackle and licenses. We will be glad to assist you in finding lodging in Everglades City.
