Join us for the best light tackle saltwater fishing imaginable. Fish for snook and tarpon in the world famous Ten Thousand Islands in the Everglades National Park, home to some of the finest snook and tarpon angling in the world. We fish differently than most guide services. We wade fish using conventional tackle and artificial lures. This enables the angler to go undetected with a low profile to the water. The result is more fish, and bigger fish. What's more wading adds a whole new dimension to shallow-water fishing. Even though this region of South Florida is famous for its snook and tarpon, it is also one of the top spots for seatrout and redfish.

The peak season for snook is from early May through the end of July, but in this tropical environment the snook can be caught year-round. During the cooler months most of the snook move into the backcountry and typically they are smaller than the snook we catch during the peak season. Outdoor Adventures' catches will range between 8 and 30 pounds, with 10 to 15 pounds a good average.
We catch many of our tarpon in the tannin-rich rivers flowing
from the Everglades backcountry, including Lostmans
and Chatham Rivers.
Generally we fish from our flats boats because the tarpon are
in deeper water areas. Again we use only artificials on relatively
light tackle for the sporting factor. Most of the tarpon we
catch and release are between 50 to 150 pounds. It's not uncommon
to hook 10-12 fish in one fishing session. |

| For our specialized hunts we lease lands on seven private ranches in Osceola County, in the heart of Florida's best turkey country. All the ranches support high populations of birds and as a result Outdoor Advantures has an amazing 85 to 100 percent success rate for our clients. Our guides have been using these same ranches for years, so we know the territory and we know the birds. All of our hunt areas are within 50 miles of Orlando. |
